By popular vote, we will be enjoying an international dinner for book club this month. Join us on Tuesday August 3rd at 7:00 at Stefani's house. We'll do it potluck style, so please comment to this post stating the dish you plan to bring. If we could get at least a couple of main dishes, a few side dishes, and then perhaps a dessert and a beverage then we should all go home happy. I'm glad you were all up for a last minute adventure. I almost feel like Phileas Fogg. Here we go!
I was thinking of bringing Frikafeller (Danish Meatballs) and if your lucky Sarah Bernhardt cookies that I think are Swedish.

ReplyDeleteI'll bring Horchata - drink from Mexico and something else just don't know yet what.
ReplyDeleteI may have to represent America on this one. Either Lasagna or Macaroni casserole. So Italy? :)
ReplyDeleteThis is sounding so great and very diverse. My mouth is already watering! I'm planning on chicken fried rice. I've got a crazy day Tuesday and will be late to book club, so I might need to give it to someone ahead of time to bring for me and reheat there, or maybe I'll drop it off at Stefani's earlier if that's okay.
ReplyDeleteI will bring a spinach feta cheese pita bake from Greece.
ReplyDeleteActually looking at the list of tasty foods, I think I may need to bring a dessert instead, probably from England or Germany. I may also bring some fresh veggies from my garden.
ReplyDeleteI have had something come up, and am not going to be able to make it. So sorry!
ReplyDeleteI thought I already commented but its not showing up so I'll write again..
ReplyDeleteI'm making my husband make us some Afghan food. Its good and very different.
Mandy and I will be shopping for all the girls camp food on Tuesday, so it will depend on how much time I have. I may try to bring Mussaman Curry, but if I don't have much time to cook, I'll just bring gelato or almond cake (its a Swedish recipe).
ReplyDeleteI think I'll attempt scones. Can't wait to taste it all!
ReplyDeleteSo I won't be bringing a casserole. I may bring some raisin biscuits. (crumpets?) Or some cookies. Are those crumpets in England? Oh well.
